DALLAS, TX, February 20, 2025 – CONNECTIVE Agency, an integrated marketing and communications firm has been recognized by the Viddy Awards for video excellence. The Viddy Awards are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. This global awards program is one of the largest competitions in the history of film and video. The CONNECTIVE Agency Studio is focused on video, photography, and motion graphics solutions that capture stories through impactful visual communications.
The video was produced in partnership with clients Arena and Healthy Seas. Arena is a global swimwear company and Healthy Seas is a foundation dedicated to safeguarding the world’s oceans and seas through three main pillars: clean-up, education, and marine waste prevention. The mission spanned three countries: the United States, Italy, and Germany.
CONNECTIVE Agency was tapped to capture the U.S. portion of the mission with American Olympic athlete freestyler Drew Kibler, who led a cleanup mission along the California coastline off of Catalina Island. The mission was focused on the removal of discarded fishing nets from the historic Tuna Clipper wreck. The Tuna Clipper is a tuna boat that sank off the west end of Catalina Island after hitting Johnson’s Rock in the middle of the night in 1985.
Together with volunteer divers from Ghost Diving and the Healthy Seas team, the group spent hours tackling marine waste motivated by a shared sense of responsibility and purpose. Kibler, who took an active role in removing harmful waste from the ocean, reflected on this experience as “life changing.”
